It's been my privilege to read hundreds of applications for the Next Challenge for Media & Journalism over the past seven days. It was a marathon of mission statements, business models, and technology-driven plans to reach new and more diverse audiences across the United States. I came away from the experience more inspired than ever about the future of media in this country.
Next Challenge adds Thomson Reuters as Partner
Thomson Reuters, a global leader in news, information and technology, has joined the Next Challenge for Media & Journalism. As a Next Challenge partner, Thomson Reuters will join WarnerMedia, the Google News Initiative, Knight Foundation, the Lenfest Institute, Temple University, TechNexus, Supernode Global and others in providing judges and mentors to engage with startups throughout the competition.

Both firms will assist with judging the competition, engage with applicants as industry mentors, and provide free training opportunities to finalists in the four Next Challenge divisions.
