Glen Nelson Center Names Five New Leaders to its Board of Advisors

Much of the success of the Glen Nelson Center over the last five years is owed to the insight and strategic direction provided by our twenty-member board of advisors. Please join us in welcoming five new advisors to this wise and talented group of leaders from across the United States.

Adam Choe is the Managing Partner at Tundra Ventures. He is a two-time University of Minnesota research fellow, founder of a pediatric healthcare company, and the former Managing Director at gener8tor Minnesota. He also taught as an adjunct professor at St. Thomas. Adam also serves on the Children's Cancer Research Fund board.

Adrian Ho is co-founder and chairman of Zeus Jones and co-founder and managing partner of Demos. He helps to oversee an independent, cooperative ecosystem of companies (which also includes Nostos and Hellen) that are designed to bring ideas, capital and talent to help create the future of business.

Shona Koester is Chief Advancement Officer at TPT -Twin Cities PBS, and was formerly the President of iPondr, Chief Strategy Officer at PRX/PRI, and Vice President of Distribution & Content Partnerships at American Public Media Group. During this time, Shona has secured partnerships with organizations like The New York Times, the BBC World Service, and the Canadian Broadcast Corporation and helped some of the most revered public media programs grow and scale, including Marketplace, TED Talks, The Moth, The Daily, Classical 24, and BBC Newshour.

Tim Murphy is Program Officer for Alignment & Vibrant and Equitable Communities at McKnight Foundation. Tim works at the intersection of racial, economic, and climate justice. He is passionate about the nonprofit ecosystem and exploring what it will take to achieve lasting, durable equity.

Rachael Scherer is an experienced strategist, enthusiastic investor, and board member with a 35-year corporate career, including management positions in Global Strategy, Investor Relations, Ventures, Institutional Research, and Investment Banking. She retired after 20 years as Medtronic VP (2019),15 years as Dain/RBC Managing Director (1999) and Board Chair of Scherer Bros. Lumber.
